Another Night Poem by Bill Kamen

Another Night

Drunk again,
lost,
roaming the
streets
at night,
looking for
my room.

It shouldn't
be hard to find,
a big place
with 100
men rammed
together.

A lady wearing
a tight miniskirt
and low-cut blouse
came up to me
and asked.

'Do you want to party? '

'No', I said.

I need
to replenish my naggin-bottle
and find my room.

She said,
'I won't nag you,
and I have a room.'
