Blessed Are Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Blessed Are

Rating: 5.0

I

Blessed are those who do not see
All of the world's misery
Blessed are those who do not hear
All of the world's profanity
Blessed are those who do not smell
All of the world's insanity
Blessed are those who do not taste
All of the world's tasteless eatery
Blessed are those who do not feel
All of the world's tragic poverty

II

Blessed are those who can see
Beyond the world's misery
Blessed are those who can hear
Beyond the world's profanity
Blessed are those who can smell
Beyond the world's insanity
Blessed are those who can taste
Beyond the world's bland eatery
Blessed are those who can feel
Empathize with world's poverty
