C'est La Vie Poem by Raziel Baptiste

C'est La Vie

The more time passes
The more I lose a place,
I was but a time filler
To help relieve hearts broken's state.

I played my hand too late
Now I sit and wait til my heart's demise,
As I know space given - means space increases
Until I no longer live within your mind.

The pain I've given come back tenfold
As I must let go of what I never had, or could ever hold,
And wounds will heal and minds relieved
As I fade from your life, thoughts, and memories.

Tis my fault I know, but this pain may never cease,
As I dramatically increase my attachment to thee,
And so I wait for my removal
Toss from home I didn't belong,
Fired from a job I wasn't hired for at all.

This potential was killed by my own hand
I know,
Thank you for your time
I will seek you no more,
C'est la vie Amora
