Calling You Poem by Ray Hansell

Calling You

I talked with you
On the phone
Hoping that
You were home

But you were
In your car
You said that you
Were going far

I wanted to stop
By your place
Just to see
You pretty face

To marvel at
You beautiful smile
The one that always
Is in style

But I'll have to wait
For another day
When I know
That I can come your way
