Child Of Mine Poem by Michelle Garner

Child Of Mine

Rating: 5.0

Who else can make me happy when all around is gloom
Who brings a smile to my darkest day and brightens up a room
Who fills my days with chatter and never wants to go to bed
Who can drive me to distraction and then wants a hug instead
Who would I give my life for, without a second thought
The child who gives love freely, whose love is never bought
You are my ray of sunshine, a mothers gift from up above
For ever and eternity you will always have my love

Michelle, what a beautiful poem. The rhythm and the rhyme just glided through this piece. One line easily following the next. So simple and so easily. Top Mark from me. Thanks for sharing this lovely poem that is so heartfelt. David
