Crestfallen Poem by Unnamed Weirdo

Crestfallen

The window is wet with dew and tears
the leaves have fallen down and died
the wind is malicious, cruel and mean
I ask myself, where are all those fears
they've faded away, on either side
they've gone, fled from the crime scene

They once were so real, the only thing true
I hid it for a long time, but now it haunts
it teases me with forgotten memories
I dream of desires, wants, needs, you
Your voice so tantalizing, it taunts
longing for this love, these frivolities

The sun shines through, all that's vague
my sight is so clear but yet so fictitious
Is it a sweet vision or a waking dream?
Is it just a stupid thought, or a lifetime plague?
Life without you seems so dull, so ambiguous
What are these pictures, what do they mean?

The light flashes before me, but no indications
The noises rumble beneath me, but no cue
the rain is harsh, but I still have no whim
Am I condemned for all eternity's notions
for all the pathetic mistakes towards you
My mind and heart alike are both crestfallen
