Dead Silence Poem by Dhal Bahadur Jirel

Dead Silence

She is fallen into deep love to corrupted men
They came to her with sweet slogans
Their attractive speech lured her
And she easily caught into their spell,
For she was beautiful and young,
For she was innocent and gentle,
And she did not see,
The hidden teeth behind their handsome face.
She would have observed their inside out,
She would have seen who they were.
And would understand,
what in their eyes was, not love in reality,
But an evil magic caste onto her.
She would have known that they were devils
thrown from the bottom of hell
To enjoy her nudity
She would have read of their habit
That they bore from their mothers womb
She would have learned
That they throw their lovers her in misery
And she would have noticed their evil deed
before they are gone away
These days, she cries because her virginity is no
more
And she is bled all over her gown
And if ever her pain is eased
There will be a scary memory to her
But she accepted them all
And embraced them with an open heart
And in return they chew her heart
They took her from the garden to the cave
Sucked her beauty and left for none
I am afraid if she will ever be free?
Because when I look at her
I see her lost hope almost dead
I wonder if she will ever have a gentle man
to marry with?
Or will the unwanted affair with devils
Remain good for bad forever?

Alas,
My country is in dead silence.
