I looked at you and you at me
We sat across from each other
quiet, unsure,
like strangers who never met before.
We looked at each other
you lifted those shutters
and I saw what I was missing
those big blue angel eyes
so innocent, so pure
so full of love, I hope

I looked at you and you at me
but still don't know what it all
means for me?

should I give up? just like the rest of the world
walk away,
abandon,
lose you or
should I lie to myself
'cause my heart tells me
there is still hope

I see all seasons in you
that I loved and still do
summer, winter, autumn, and spring
I am waiting if happiness will ever ring
