Is Love Enough? Poem by Brittany Gorski

The pain of yesterday,
Is carried over to today.
Tears fall down my pallor cheeks.
How can i go on?
I'm losing control.
You say you love me,
but I'm not so sure now.
When we're together
everything is perfect.
The times we're apart
it's hell
We've worked through our earlier problems,
but,
they seem to multiply.
I start to think,
maybe we're meant to leave each other.
Is love enough?
Is the pain worth it?
My head tells me no,
but my heart says yes!
The battle is exahasting.
When you're with your friends
nothing I say or do
turns your head.
Later you say your sorry
and that you'll change.
But you never do.
So what am I supposed to do?
