Peaceful radiance of a beautiful morn.
The giantress stands on her tiny island,
over looking New York Harbor.
Carrying a torch for friendship, freedom, and hope.
Crown of seven spikes made for her head.
Representing many things, the seas,
continents, or even the sun. Lady liberty, symbol of freedom.
Your broken shackles and chains, can be
seen half hidden by your hem.
Yet, exposed across the desert sands.
For our liberated Kuwait friends.
May the joy of freedom shine across your land.
May the shackles be broken in other lands.
