Lifestyle Poem by Ashvini Swamy

Lifestyle

My fist is still clenched tight

Though the sand has trickled away

And I am past the point of letting go anyway

Call me possessive or

A recluse from reality

Or maybe someone who's hopes are foolishly strong

To be battered down by the bitter truth

So judge me not too harshly for

Living in denial is also a way of life
