Looking For Love
I was looking for love
But ran into hate
I was trying to start
But faced the end
I was fond of life
But gOt used to death
I was eager to play
But found no friend
I did want you to stay
You meant to offend
While everything around is gray
We hafta be on the mend
I'd love to have one more day
With you in bed to spend
For delight I'm gonna pay
Our judgements we are to suspend
