Many Rivers
In response to the site MANY RIVERS set up
by the renowned poet and philosopher, David Whyte:
Many rivers
which is the most sure
to the shore
of the heart and mind?
Many rivers
it's all about choice
which will lead
to sorrow or joy?
Many rivers
mysterious, strange
all are beckoning
in their unknown waters.
One river,
in a quiet corner
travelled by none before
I am sure--that I will secure
