Naked Poem by Sheila Knowles

Naked

Rating: 4.7

This morning when I woke
I choked
on the freshness of your breath
that serenity
in your smile
stripped me bare
and your thoughts
dabbed their pristine fingers
inside my dirty mind

I lay there panting
wondering how you’d react
to what you found
as you strip searched me
down to the bloody raw
and flinched
at all the the ugliness
I guess
I just can't hide
my grubby nakedness
from you

if your body is as beautiful as your mind, and I suspect it is, what's the problem?

I sense your feeling of unworthines through this very worthy poem. Excellent!
