Why divide the world, into good and bad, me and you?
Clouds in the day, tell tales, you never knew
Stars allure you, in the night deep blue,
Isn't the mind like the shade of sky, splitting day and night, false and true?

Why then.. abide by the codes, stay constricted?
With idyllic intoxication injected
Have a smoke with your soul unaddicted,
Haven't you wished to live life absolutely unrestricted?

Why then.. confide your love through a glance?
Hold her hands and change your stance
Sway together in the ballroom dance,
Friend, won't you scruple again or take a chance?

Why then...hold on tight to the time elapsed?
Like a scaly snake that sheds her skin
Revive, rejoice, and drop the leaves of past,
Don't you have a choice but to live in the Now?
