Olympic Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Olympic

Olympic

When God came or was made
(Agnostic)
He was good, he was kind
He was cure and a bridge
He brought food, was savior

Then came men, in covers.
White, black, green in colors,
Yellow and maroon or others,
“I am a gate between you, ”
They claimed, then-after, He,
God I mean; turned to beast
He, a devil…

Olympic, when remade was the same,
Friendship and sport, road to peace,
Now it is a showcase in skies, in space.

Life’s funny but we live.
