I’ll sing a little song for you
A song to make you smile
I’m sorry baby that I’m gone
I might be quite a while
And if I do not make it back
Tell mum that I’m OK
Tell dad that I am sorry
And I don’t mean all I say
Tell everyone I’m on my way
And If I don’t come home
Remember that as you think of me
You’re never on your own.
So as I write this little note
To you for you to find
I’ll tell you that I still love you
