Run Silent Run Deep Poem by lingering stupor

Run Silent Run Deep

Run silent run deep
Let the bulkheads creak
Even when you are passing
No one must know your waking

Blackness surrounds me in the deep
Silence same bitter and sweet
Unlike stars that shine in the night
Shadows echoing sounds full of fright

Henceforth when the enemy is yonder
Not a second they can ponder
From beneath the dark and shadows
You destroy them nothing left not even bellows

For this is how we must be
To wage a war for that thought free
For in the shadows that we creep
We run silent we run deep
