Surrender Poem by Tsani Jones

Surrender

Rating: 5.0

Sex is a lie.
Passion is overrated.
Love is a pale fluke.
Hush, my little one, and tell the truth.

When we fold,
The heavens crash.
Your fingers the
Instruments of the divine.

You can moan as I
Hold you,
But you come to
Feed, I nourish your soul.

Pure water flows
From every single kiss
Of your lips, a cure
For my slaked throat.

A spiritual dehydration,
To be without you
For so long,
To love you for this eternity.

My Lover, my Queen,
My Christ -
Heal me!
I ache for all you have sworn me.

My sweet surrender
Laid at the altar
Of your worst day
Wherein remains the best of me...

Look to the four winds
At the horizon my fealty to you blows
Proudly - a banner of the undefineable
Beyond broken words and mending hearts.

What terrible monster is this?
The taste of our blood
Crunched from the
Same mouth.

You and I are one.
Our circle binds us.
The gods and devils shake us
Yet the roots and bonds are too deep and sound.

In you, my Eternal, I surrender.

Raise the white flag, surrender to euphoric heavens. Splendid romantic read!
