Talk It Out Poem by Micah Buck

Talk It Out

Her shirt was purple; her blood was red.
The blood was boiling inside her head.
The anger rose in her heart;
as she waited for her enemy to start.
What no one knows is they used to be best friends.
A week or so ago their friendship was on the mends.
Then they had another fight over something dumb;
As she waited for the hurtful words to come.
The tears were evident around her eyes;
They started to flow, and she begins to cry.
She whispers I'm sorry and starts to walk away;
When the other girl says 'Can we talk, Please stay'
So she turns around, and pulls up a chair.
She has so much to say, but most of it she wouldn't dare.
They sit and talk about everything that happened that happened;
All the truths and the untruths they had imagined.
