In life but a vapor
With all she had stood for
Held tight to her champion
Not there
Now forced to let go of
All dreams and labor
By grasping for sanity spared
She always was there for
The hope and the notion
Her knight in white armor would care
To pull out of the darkness
Lie's potion would down pour
Not again to be left in despair
That day never happened
And as days before
She was dropped in his darkness to dare
A thousand excuses, but thousands times more
She prayed her white knight could forebear.
Then last chance was given
Then last chance once more
Her champion remained in lost way
Forgoed her companion and then closed the door
To false dreams that held her heart prey.
So in life's short vapor
Please don't take for granted
True blessings received long the way.
King self disregarded
All tenderness savoured
Else yours will be next life to pay.
