The Loveless Poem by Shaun Cronick

The Loveless

Rating: 5.0

What are the charms of this earth,
It's gold it's treasure really worth?
Without a sharing lover by your side,
With no passion nor dreams to divide.

The Loveless drown in their avarice,
Each soul forever sallow and numb.
They choose to never stop and think,
Oh how so lonely they've all become.

A poignant and insightful write. Liked the opening lines of this marvelous write. It drew me to read the whole write and ponder the thoughts conveyed in this poem. An excellent write and so beautifully crafted.

Thank you Rose Marie for your great and uplifting comment. After tomorrow I'll have time off work to finally relax and I choose to read your good self's many poems and finish off a few others. Thank you so much Rose Marie for fighting my corner. I am so indebted to you.
