The Trouble With Love Is Poem by Dashaun Rashod Snipes

The Trouble With Love Is

The power of love is a force beyond measure,
A flame that ignites hearts and brings us pleasure.
It holds the ability to heal wounds deep,
And in its embrace, all sorrows we can keep.

Love knows no boundaries, no limits, no bounds,
It reaches the depths of our souls, it astounds.
With its gentle touch, it can mend the broken,
And with its warmth, it can awaken the unspoken.

But the trouble with love is that it can be blind,
Leading us astray, leaving reason behind.
It can make us vulnerable, open to pain,
Yet we still crave it, again and again.

Love can be a double-edged sword,
Bringing both joy and heartache in its accord.
It can lift us up to the highest of heights,
Or plunge us into darkness, endless nights.

The trouble with love is its unpredictability,
It can bring us bliss or shatter our stability.
Yet, despite its flaws, we still seek its embrace,
For without love, life would lose its grace.

So let us cherish love in all its complexity,
Embrace its power, its beautiful intensity.
For in the trials it presents, we find growth,
And in its purest form, we discover our worth.

The trouble with love may be its storms and strife,
But it is also the source of the greatest joys in life.
So let us embrace it, with all its highs and lows,
For in love's journey, our truest essence always shows.
