Tundra Poem by Thomas Plotz

Tundra

Spring time - when the tundra sings,
Upon mountain high
Covered with wildflowers, reaching to the sky

Shooting Stars blooms
With dazzling colors
Pink, white and purple shades

Life seems slower, happily content
Soaking in the sun

Their song will go on
The next day and the next after
With other wildflowers blooms,

Till fall and winter looms,

Then they will lie in wait
Until their flower heads rise once more

When the tundra sings to us
Just outside our door
