Wrong Again Poem by Patricia Gale

Wrong Again

Rating: 4.4

Wanting you to be someone you were not
Thoughts of love changing the way you are
My love could cure it all
Wrong again

Giving, taking all I could
Filling your cup to the brim
My love could consume you
Wrong again

Showing you what real love is
Guiding you down a lovers path
Trying to open your eyes, see what love has to offer
Wrong again

Thinking time could erase your haunting memories
Love spun magic would twirl it all away
Hoping love could make you a changed man
Wrong again

Now regretful words
Fill your lips and believing they could make it better
You drained my soul and have come back wanting more
Wrong again...........there is no more

Nice poem, you picture love as something not perfectly lasting which can be true depending on the factors that created it. Regards.
