You Are Not Alone Poem by Melanie Weeks

You Are Not Alone

You are not the only one.
You are not alone.
You can get through this.

You've lost people who were close.
Your sibling.
Your parent.
Your grandparent.
Your friend.

Your lost in your grief.
You blame yourself.
Whats done is done,
But you wish you could have changed it.

Wether they're dead or alive,
You feel they've diserted you.
You believe that no one loves you.

That is not true.
The Lord God is always there,
Right beside you.
He'll always love you.

You are not alone.

There are others like you.
Who feel that they are alone.
God is with them, too.

So pray and forgive.
Forgive yourself for not being there,
It couldn't have helped.
Forgive your loved one,
They really didn't know.

You are not alone.
