My failing heart, my clouded mind
is all that's left of me
I lie alone as time goes by, but no-one will ever see
when love is lost and silence falls
...

From mans beginnings to present day
our quest for more has led the way
in our rush for greater things, we do not see the hurt we bring
the lives that fall, the pain they bear
...

Swirling leaves, howling winds
the light within begins to dim
aching bones, shallow sigh's
is this my time to say goodbye
...

When we were kids and times were easy
life was for the living
all summer long we played our games
no-one cared the outcome
