Love Lost

My failing heart, my clouded mind
is all that's left of me
I lie alone as time goes by, but no-one will ever see
when love is lost and silence falls
there's nothing left in here
my empty soul they will take, but is it really me
I wait around to be near
I hope one day you'll see
the love we had will never die
It burns too strong in me.
