Thomas Rourke Poems

In the gloomy forest
Where no birds go
In the gloomy forest
Where once, long ago
...

Crawling around
All types of trees
Leaves blowing in my face
From the gentle breeze
...

I can see the sea
The crashing waves
The spraying sea spray
And the beautiful fishes
...

Soft as a lion
Curled like a currant bun
So cute to cuddle
And so much fun
...

The Gloomy Forest

In the gloomy forest
Where no birds go
In the gloomy forest
Where once, long ago

A young man walked
Along a muddy path
In the gloomy forest
All in the dark

He was stolling along
Whistling a melody
A little bit drunk
From a late party

When he met a strange figure
Who immediately said:
Get out of my forest!
And with that the drunk man fled
