The Indomitable Lion
you walked on the road not taken
From the time you were born
Like the shining star of David
You blazed an academic trail
Unparalleled by many a human
An erudite scholar and a prudent researcher
Many thought you will fail
But you prevailed and became the NAFDAC boss
You roared and counterfeit drugs were silenced
Your life was threatened but you fought
And all their plans came to naught
You were a leader who took the challenge
When you became the information minister
Rebranding a country that
Many had given up on
You held dear your ideals
Lost in thought they are faraway, taking a trip to a world of their own.
Willingly they grow numb to our world laddened with problems.
They believe they can live forever, but their life is fading away.
They take more of their death believing they are living.
