If You Really Love Me Then Dare Be Me

You say you love me dearly
yet you're the one who hurts me mostly
with your incredible, irresistable charm you dupe me into believing you
and i just cant see through you

loving you is all i ever had
the only thing that seems real
and having you around just drives me mad
the best emotion i can ever feel

you break my heart,
apologise and show regretful remorse
not knowing you actually tearing me apart,
having you to love me feels like a curse.

you tell me that whats done is done
and i should let bygones be bygones,
with your gentle touch you trick me into believing you,
thinking its all true

having the most horrible, stressful nights
feeding my pillow with nothing but tears
reminscing our stupid, irreasonable childish fights
in my dreams appears nothing but the fears of losing you

if you knew how much strength and devotion
loving you was
you would make it a point to treat me like a glass
i smile and pretend all is good
but only if you understood
the pain and neglectance i feel deep down inside
then you would always be by my side

you should be the reason for my happiness,
not giving me reason to end my life
