My Biggest And Dumbest Mistake Poem by traccy manganye

My Biggest And Dumbest Mistake

The day you proposed and I said yes
I thought you would be my secret nurse.
Yet what you brought was unwanted medicine
that made me believe saying yes was a sin

You were once true cause of my happiness
and you managed blowing it up,
now I'm to wear make-up,
just to hide the sorrows that lie in the depth of my skin

Maybe it's because I bustled
that pushed you even furtherer,
when you promised it would last forever
I never thought it was for never

You have the most charming aptitude
of sweeping me off my feet
with your evil, hidden attitude
that I can't see where boundries meet

when you said you'd be abreast
I thought you'd be the best,
not knowing behind you smile lies
uncountable lies that never dies
