Bicycle summer,
Girls ride across
A moonlight bridge.

Bleak city in the rain,
I’m as sad as an evening
Without a sunset.

Hypnotic drinks
And spellbound until dawn,
I’ve seen cities linger
In a moonlight haze.

Southwest Detroit,
Old streets, ancient history,
Grey factory town
Weeping lonely rain,

Soft breasts
