Lets hear it for women the women oppressed
In patriarchal societies their human rights are transgressed
By male religious zealots who hate woman kind
For to trample on women's rights any excuse they will find.

Some women they are naive and some women they are shy
And some women they are cunning and some women they are coy
But they are less aggressive than the macho male kind
And compassion in women is never hard to find.

When women will rule the World sadly i won't be around
My bones will be resting forever in some quiet dead person's ground
But what a World 'twill be to live in the flower of peace will bloom again
And for as long as women do rule the World peace in the World will remain,

Of Arrogant males I have grown tired I meet one or two every day
One reason why I do love women is that they are different to men in every way
We would have less wars if women were leaders and a far better World to live in
With females in positions of power pragmatism would have a big win

Men who abuse women a blight on mankind
And though aggressive males are not hard to find
Most males to the female sex respect only pay
And kind things of women only ever do say

The women of the World as people they are great
They give birth to the children and in so doing life create
In every woman ever born a nurturing soul you'll find
The mothers and the aunties a credit to Humankind.

The Peace Women drum on their peace drums in hope that the war men may hear
The war men who wage war on others the influential bullies who live far from here
The bullies who wage their so called war on terror who themselves are responsible for brutal acts of shame
Yet the bombing and murdering continues despite the blame and counter blame.

The modern World an unhappy place to live in due in part to egostistical power hungry men
We need the wisdom of wise and ageing women if hearts and minds and peace we are to win
We do not need crazy male ageing bullies who talk peace through the barrel of a gun
These are the type we ought not to look up to in fact they are the type we ought to shun.

They are the unsung heroines of today
We need them as leaders to educate men
With wise women as leaders less wars for to win

There is more to life for any woman than being a faithful and a devoted wife
To a selfish and egotistical fellow until the last day of her life
To one who remains as a rude teenager in his behaviour who uses her as his sexual toy
She cares for him and for their children whilst the good life he seems to enjoy.

As it is now it was also back when
I was much younger this is going back in time
Back to the days when i was in my physical prime

The sound of their drumming echoes in the night
In the quiet of the park in the Autumn moonlight

Like me must be ageing as time is our foe

With age faces seem to change as time does tick away

Girls become young women and lovely to behold
But to time lose their beauty as they do grow old
Then they use hair dyes and makeup to fight time's decay
But the look of freshness of youth as they age with them does not stay

Some women when it comes to love can be quite silly
Joan she has fallen for loud mouthed Billy
He has a big ego bigger than many
For him she did leave the far humbler young Danny

In love as in life things do not always go well
Two women of love with different stories to tell
In different ways by love they were both left in tears
And due to love grief and disappointment can linger for years

His life revolves around women and beer and football
He only works because he needs money since work does not interest him at all
On Saturday he goes to the football to urge his favorite team on

The Charles Atlas types does not appeal to them they see them as outdated

We live in an age when the men and women of rhyme
Will not be remembered beyond their lifetime
Times as ever changing and few things do last
And tomorrow today it will be of the past

The young women of my young years do they combat time's decay
In anti ageing creams and hair dyes do they hide their wrinkles and gray
Or do some of them age gracefully in a dignified way?

The pride of the City of South West Victoria's coastal countryside
News of their beauty it has traveled far and wide

If women were running governments there would be less wars to fight
And far less emphasis on the superiority of might
Though sadly some women in positions of power like aggressive male leaders behave
Aggression like war mongering males they carry with them to the grave

In a town where women of beauty are not rare
I am too old to worry and too old to care
Of beautiful women in their physical prime
An aging balding fellow on the wrong side of time
