Why Am I Not Good Enough?

1. Take a shower you don't want to smell.
2. Pick out an outfit that will blend in with the latest trends and won't make you a laughing stock of the school more than you already are

3. Put on some makeup so you can't even recognize yourself and your face tingles with an unbelievable issue. You can't satisfy otherwise you'll have ruined the hours of meticulous painting you apply to your face.

4. Don't forget to style your hair in elegant curls. You can't let everyone at school see how your hair frizzes up.

Defence Of Fort Mchenry (Stars And Stripes Forever)

O! say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there -
O! say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free, and the home of the brave?

On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,

The World We Created

Broken bottles everywhere with plastic bags
Charred pieces of glass with boxes and fags
Ripping out plants and tearing down trees.
Is this the beautiful environment surrounding me?

Plastic in the sea choking biodiversity with terror
Oil suffocating organisms due to human error
Waste disposed in the once beautiful ocean.
Are these all acts of our human notion?

Air Pollution

What is air pollution?
book defines as contamination of gases;
But is the definition this much only,
or you think there's some more, yes there is!

It is caused when the air balance,
of our atmosphere gets altered;
Mainly because it causes CO2 to increase,
and makes O2 blurred.

Global Warming

Is global warming and on volcano?
Are the world leaders aware and know?
Do they know entire universe is on fire?
Industries and pollution sill they admire,

Weather change and unseasoned rains,
Flood’s havoc is worry main,
Everything to loose and nothing to gain,
All efforts nothing but going in vain

I Heard The World Crying

I heard the world crying
As though she was dying,
And then came the rain
As though sympathy to her pain,
She was being polluted
And her body was being looted,
Myself and a million more sighed;
She just cried.

I heard the world moan

WHY READ THIS:

We need moral, aesthetic, biblio, audio, visual over all soul’s sanitization. It’s important and urgent and must be regarded as ‘Must Dos’.

Guinevere

Queen Guinevere had fled the court, and sat
There in the holy house at Almesbury
Weeping, none with her save a little maid,
A novice: one low light betwixt them burned
Blurred by the creeping mist, for all abroad,
Beneath a moon unseen albeit at full,
The white mist, like a face-cloth to the face,
Clung to the dead earth, and the land was still.

For hither had she fled, her cause of flight

Paradise Lost: Book 12

As one who in his journey bates at noon,
Though bent on speed; so here the Arch-Angel paused
Betwixt the world destroyed and world restored,
If Adam aught perhaps might interpose;
Then, with transition sweet, new speech resumes.
Thus thou hast seen one world begin, and end;
And Man, as from a second stock, proceed.
Much thou hast yet to see; but I perceive
Thy mortal sight to fail; objects divine
Must needs impair and weary human sense:

Childe Harold's Pilgrimage: A Romaunt. Canto I.

To Ianthe:

Not in those climes where I have late been straying,
Though Beauty long hath there been matchless deem'd;
Not in those visions to the heart displaying
Forms which it sighs but to have only dream'd,
Hath aught like thee in truth or fancy seem'd:
Nor, having seen thee, shall I vainly seek
To paint those charms which varied as they beam'd --
To such as see thee not my words were weak;

Paradise Lost: Book X

Thus they in lowliest plight repentant stood
Praying, for from the Mercie-seat above
Prevenient Grace descending had remov'd
The stonie from thir hearts, and made new flesh
Regenerat grow instead, that sighs now breath'd
Unutterable, which the Spirit of prayer
Inspir'd, and wing'd for Heav'n with speedier flight
Then loudest Oratorie: yet thir port
Not of mean suiters, nor important less
Seem'd thir Petition, then when th' ancient Pair

Will People Still Continue To Sabotage Their Own Mission?

How nice was to see the love of the pigeon!
How tasty was the fruits of every season!

Now the nature is not fresh but full of poison
The earth has lost its beauty and acts like a prison.

Were the civilizations destroyed without any reason?
Lots of better sense has been wasted out in the horizon!

How much love still left to throw in the ocean?

Lines Written Among The Euganean Hills

Many a green isle needs must be
In the deep wide sea of Misery,
Or the mariner, worn and wan,
Never thus could voyage on -
Day and night, and night and day,
Drifting on his dreary way,
With the solid darkness black
Closing round his vessel's track:
Whilst above the sunless sky,
Big with clouds, hangs heavily,

The Odyssey

BOOK I

Tell me, O muse, of that ingenious hero who travelled far and wide
after he had sacked the famous town of Troy. Many cities did he visit,
and many were the nations with whose manners and customs he was
acquainted; moreover he suffered much by sea while trying to save
his own life and bring his men safely home; but do what he might he
could not save his men, for they perished through their own sheer
folly in eating the cattle of the Sun-god Hyperion; so the god

Water Grief Water Joy 2100

When there is no water there is danger
When there is excess water there is danger,
Ranger of forest tells that trees die
Due to wiled fire that spreads,
It happens when there is no rain
And summer runs for long time and
When monsoon comes very late to rain,
Then excess rain brings flood in river,
Landslide is seen and devastation too,
Trees are uprooted in heavy rain and cyclone,

Love Tree

I did not write you down in poetry
Least my readers discover you badly-
Pleading my poetic weakness;
I did not paint your face on canvas
Least my viewers devalue you-
Pleading my trembling retouch of the brush.

I wanted to make a narrow castle
Like a cocoon of a moth
And then a free fly to the Heaven.

Monadnoc

Thousand minstrels woke within me,
"Our music's in the hills; "—
Gayest pictures rose to win me,
Leopard-colored rills.
Up!—If thou knew'st who calls
To twilight parks of beech and pine,
High over the river intervals,
Above the ploughman's highest line,
Over the owner's farthest walls;—
Up!—where the airy citadel

To My Good Friend, Tom Billsborough

.
I miss you,
my good friend, Tom.
The world I live in
is diminished
by losing you
and your brilliant mind.
I miss how you played in the classics
understanding their depth and heights
and then you would turn around

! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! A Wake Up Call! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Has our planet ever charged rent for living on it?
It shared its bounty, though some rules were implicit
How could we be so short-sighted and full of greed.
We may have to pay a price for this, God forbid.

Recklessness propelled us to break all the laws
And make plans in the name of progress full of flaws.
Now we have to face the inevitable consequences
Are floods, hurricanes nature’s way of taking vengeance?

Controlling Anger Before It Controls You

When toxic and volatile emotions
Are causing confusion and commotion,
Feelings are hijacked, hot thoughts race,
Mind gets enveloped in a rage.

As a consequence, visibility comes down,
It’s wise to shift gears and slow down.
Switch on the wipers
And clear the fog on the mind’s mirror.
