Trees were my childhood friends (along with neighbor, Helen) .
Now trees, and other South Carolina plants, have me YELLIN'.
Oh, it may not be outloud-yelling; I keep some feelings inside,
But, my displeasure with some plants here, I'll not from you hide.

Today my 'heart was heavy', & my sweat was flowing.
'Twas near 80 degrees F, nearly no wind was blowing.
In Fortuna now, 'temps' are 15-20 degrees more cool.
If not following my mate, I'd stay in CA; I'm not a fool.

A long-stalked pink ‘flower', in U.S., is "Naked Lady".
It's related to "Deadly Nightshade", a plant very ‘shady',
in that it's quite deadly to humans who consume [enough of]
