Love Needs To Be

Why is sadness everywhere all day and night
Makes it seem like no one wants to fight
For what they think is right.

I don't understand why you spend your life
Trying to use your words as knifes
And causing a horrible strife.

It seems every day it gets worse
It makes life like a curse
Reminding me of a thief and a purse.

The love of the world has vanished
And makes it seem like the villains have accomplished
The task of making love get banished.

Why do we not try anymore
It seems like everyone fell into a bore
And tries to cause a war.

Love is not what it used to be
When it was you and me
But one day baby we will see
The truth will be set free
And that will be the key
For what love needs to be.
