Setting at naught my futile engravings
The vast blue deep kissing my feet and receding
The surging white beckons me for a splash.

Gleams the cacophony of existence
Treachery liberates its entangled claws
Mind loses composure.

The core of the exhausted self
Weary eyes get soothed by
The gliding march to nocturnal ambience.

Shadows flickering on the curtain
Of emotion vented out in leisure
The caressing comfort pile up
The urge of welcoming the new.

Past speaks to the present
About its sordid recollection
Of burnt up desires
And shattered fascination.

The lazy carnival of golden hue
Amidst the azure expanse,
The twittering delight of the morn
Gleaning through the vales

Darkness shrouds with glimmers behind shadow of forms
The depth of unending vegetation turns all black
Breathing the warmth of a sultry day
Out into the cooling landscape.

The journey starts from the very beginning
From the snap of the cord till the end.
Identity thrust upon the soul
Without questioning its intent.

The uncanny plunges deep into the broth,
From where fumes the veiled character,
Smiles in guile the wretched self,
And hankers after the terrified innocence.

Childhood ruptures in the mist of
Rapture of serpentine encroachment.
Guile ushers the rising darkness
That swallows up the essence of innocence.
