This really is insane
I look around and you're still there as
I walk down the lane

You're nobodies puppet, you've a
mind of your own.

Wake up and walk with me up on the hills
It's springtime and warm, we'll see daffodils
It's a beautiful morning, so fresh and alive
we might even see the kingfisher dive.

When everything is upside down
And things just seem a mess
Why should we bother to carry on
Amid this bother and stress.

I'm not perfect, I just don't fit
I've ginger hair, a facial twitch
My skin is wrong, my accent bad,
My mum is poor, I got no dad.

You've invaded my house
You're not wanted here
I'm scared, I hide
You fill me with fear.

There are fairies in my garden
And I know that it's true
I see them on the spider web
And in the morning dew.

The world is watching, what she sees
makes her sad
All this greed, hate and jealousy is
so very bad

I'm going on a journey
Where I'm heading isn't clear
All I know is I must go
In faith and have no fear.

I want to be a witch
And walk a Wiccan path
I'll collect slimy toads and leaches
And keep them in my bath.
