When everything is upside down
And things just seem a mess
Why should we bother to carry on
Amid this bother and stress.

The world just seems so angry
So ready to condemn
Why are we so critical and
Aggressive to fellow men.

Is it not wrong to live our lives
Spreading hatred and fear
Sometimes people seem to enjoy
Seeing others shed a tear.

Why can't they look around themselves
and see that which is great
The love is there, you need to look
It's not all full of hate.

This world is such a wondrous place
That we visit for a while
So why make life so difficult
Lets enjoy it with a smile.

The truth is there amid the hate
And something has to give
How can we continue to ruin
This world in which we live.

We really need to change this now
But where do we start
The answers there it's plain to see
It's deep within your heart.
