No one lives forever, that's given.

The inner joy seen in the eyes
A cause one wills to pay with death.

Completes a pictured tapestry,
When viewed it somehow tells us more
Than what the eye can merely see.

How morbid the thoughts for the season!
Whatever happened to the fun that was?
We forgot merriment was the reason?
