Where the heart is, there lies
The meaning of one's every breath,
The inner joy seen in the eyes
A cause one wills to pay with death.

Where the heart is, there stays
The love that was planted so firmly,
Through the years, the seasons, and passing days
It is never forgotten by memory.

Where the heart is, there holds
A treasure untarnished by tears
Its worth unsurpassed like precious gold
A jewel of all that one holds dear.
