By Their Fruits Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

By Their Fruits

Their roots were hidden
But their fruits I saw,
Good trees bear good fruits
Such a fact has no flaw.

Search for the evidence
That would prove to you
If the teaching has sense
If it is false or true.

By actions and words, you can weigh
The tree if it is truly real,
For evil disguised, leads you astray
Your soul it desires to steal.

Experience is always better
No doctrine can nullify,
Whatever you saw or heard there
In spirit, not with the eye.

The heart is the seat of being
It is there that you recognize
If God's Spirit is truly residing
Or what you were fed, were lies.
