where the imps and fairies play

The swings stand empty,
but rock back and forth.
Probably in the memory,
of the children who sat on them.

Some days we are filled with happiness,
some days we are filled with gloom.
Some times we are filled with optimism
that illuminates every room.

Life is like an ocean,
calm, stormy, and always
forever restless.
We move forward through

For those who don’t have pets
won’t know what I mean,
but for those who do
will know just what I mean.

Go to sleep my child
and when you close your eyes,
Mr Sandman will call
while your sleepy head

Driving some friends home last night
who lived about thirty miles away
