The breeze blew
at that exact once in a lifetime moment
blowing your perfect golden hair
into your beautiful, unique face

this paper heart,
standard eight and half
by eleven cut,
holds flat straight out,

I live in the moment
and i see only present tense
i need to look past life, myself, the biggies
and see what lay in rest in my future

the music plays in my head,
my ears dance
to the surreal serenity of a quasi-live society
i wish i could get away

i struggle
to put this effortless smile on my face
as the wind clock strikes noon
and the gusts take off,

Oh how this air livens my soul,
and invigorates me so,
to live to breathe and to breathe so to feel this gentle wind brush my cheek,
