Dianna Wilder Poems

No food,
no water,
no sanitation-
Katrina had sturck!
...

There's this lost island that no one seems to find.
It's been in the ocean since the beginning of time.
Butterflies big as blue Jays and seagulls of every shade.
Red, pink and orange, magenta, teal and jade.
...

The eagle soars over the jungle wild and free.
No one knows what lies at the bottom of the stream, except he.
The emerald is known for it's beauty and the brilliance you feel.
The cool, green color has the power to heal.
...

Mother Lode,
it's the biggest vein in the mine.
The one men search their
whole life to find.
...

I saw a poster of the American Eagle
with a tear falling from his eye.
The twin towers were in the background
with smoke hovering in the sky.

The Best Poem Of Dianna Wilder

Katrina

No food,
no water,
no sanitation-
Katrina had sturck!

Water rushes in;
the people now homeless,
wondering, waiting for 'Hope.'

Children horrified as they
search for parents,
someone to care for them!

Days later,
'Hope' finally arrives
in food, water, the necessities of life.

Life as we know it,
now gone forever.
What lies ahead for these people? ?

The poorest of poor,
searching for 'Hope.'
Americans once again bind together.

As they open their hearts,
sending supplies, money
and prayers.
