Original - Wizard

The Erudite wizard with his book
Studied spells in his candlelit nook
A pinch of this and a pinch of that
Blue-green kyanite and eye of bat
Dirt from a cloven path in the woods
Now he has amassed all of his goods
With an incantation, full of fear
A ghostly specter did soon appear
Satisfied that his spell will now work
