To whom shall I the baton give?
My lap is getting o’er almost;
There are more laps in the relay race;
How many more, I don’t know.

But gave it up for rearing daughters two;
Nevertheless, she kept her calm and cool;
Another fifteen years had passed off too!

Today on earth is Father’s Day!
Good children know this anyway;
His love reminds them to then say,
‘God bless you daddy dear, today! ’

Acquiring ken is education’s aim –
Most priceless wealth on earth that lasts life-time;
If not for it, a person’s mind is lame;
Life turns worthless with illiteracy prime!

Just shed your undue fear;
Prepare the way, you must,
And try to do your best

The tree-trunk cut flush to the soil surface
Has branches sprouting new, those grow with speed;
Amazingly, revengefully in pace,
That far exceeds that seen from any seed!
