2.

Black and vulnerable.
Beyond comprehension.
Balls of bountiful beauty,
A cartographer's cherished reward;
...

There is a beast,
Warm-blooded and breathing,
And lying
Smack,
...

Look, a man with blue eyes,
Bright and beautiful,
Tattered in his nakedness,
Fetal skin and writhing bones,
...

Black tears roll down
Your white feminine face:
Sliding down your cheekbones,
Synchronized in perfect cadence,
...

Do you notice how hopelessly
Beautiful the way the kissing, scorching
Sun's radiant rays smacks the shimmering seas?
...

What if.
What if there wasn't pain?
What if there wasn't sin?
What if there wasn't shame?

In Step

Ecstasy:
One step forward,
She
Slides
Back,
To where it all began.
She says, ' No. No more, '
And yet she

Puts
Down
The Devil's Blade,
Satan's sweet lips,
The knife that
C U T S;

Then picking it up again;
Smoothes the folds
Of her blouse,
Loosens the top button
Then come the Fall of the Century:

Her shirt is off.
Heartbeats pulsing,
The bleating of the Dark Horses,
Hooves churning up mounds of
Dust, of
Anguish;

The beat of the drums:
Drum,
Drum,
Boom,
Boom!
Adrenaline! Fear!
Now!
The voices,
SHOUT!

In her head.
The loud whispers,
SCREAM,
With joy,

With the Love of the
Damned-

The mirror
She looks at

.

Skin peels away,
Revealing the blood Diamond
Within.

Layers of an onion,
Except.
With blood
With sweat:

Her salted tears
Smile into the creases
Of her face
in glistening Mother of Pearl;
Dimples showing.

White Lily:
Bleed blood pours
buckets;
Breathes,
Moans,
The rise of chest.
