I Thank Thee, Lord

I thank thee, Lord, for all I have, For all You've given me.
My life, my loves, my native land
My family and my friends
and for being free!
All these are the finest and the best
And in these things I am truly blest.
The lovely mountains, flowers and trees,
The beauty of the children, too
These treasures mean so much to me.
My heart gives thanks in every way,
To you, creator of all I survey.
And I look forward someday to see
The heavenly mansion prepared for me.
